MHT CET 2017 Exam And Admission Details Here

Introduction:

The Government of Maharashtra conducts an entrance test for the students who wish to take admissions into the engineering and technology, health and science degrees, pharmacy private colleges of Maharashtra. This test is called as the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). The candidates who wish to get the admission must first attend the entrance test, get the qualifying marks and then get the admission to the desired field. For this purpose, the application form will be hosted by the website shortly. For now the examination dates of MHT CET are been announced.

The MHT CET for the academic year 2017 will be held on the 11 May, 2017.

Details of filing the application form:

The application form of MHT CET 2017 will be hosted in the first week of March, 2017. As soon as it is released, the candidates must follow the following guidelines for filling and submitting the application form:

1. Visit the official website where the application forms for MHT CET 2017 will be hosted.
2. There the candidates must log in by creating account and then fill in the application form by filling all the details in the form.
3. They must also attach their recent passport size photograph and signature.
4. The application fee for the examination for the open category candidates is Rs. 800 and for the reserved category is Rs. 600. The candidates may have to pay some bank charges also. The application fee can be paid through net banking/ Debit card/ credit card and any other media as prescribed by the authority. The application fee can also be paid by using the SBI challan through cash.

Exam Pattern for MHT CET 2017 Examination

Following are some of the details pertaining to the exam patter of MHT CET 2017:

• The MHT CET 2017 exam will be an MCQ type test.
• It will be conducted on the paper i.e. it will be offline and not on computer.
• It will consist of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
• Each subject will be of 50 marks each. Hence, the entire exam will be of 200 marks.
• There will be no negative marking system in the MHT CET 2017 examination.

The candidate must complete all the processes of application form filing, application fee payment etc. in time, then only they will be eligible to apply for the examination. The authorities will keep updating all the other important dates related to the examination, on the website very shortly.
